Really fun this weekend to have the kayak comp in town, tons of pros and hippies from around the world. It was awesome to see it in real life what they can really do in those boats and not just hear "fish storys" from cort, bri balls, etc. The promoters said the festival was going to bring 25-30 thousand people over the weekend to watch and drink beer. It was real funny, the announcer was shooting t-shirts into the crowd out of a co2 canon and shot a bird in mid air, talk about a good shot or in the birds case bad luck. Good thing for the bird, it was at a huge hippie fest and some girl swam out in the freezing cold river to save the bird. fun for all
